Distracted

It is so easy to get distracted from giving time to the Lord. With everyone busy with their jobs maybe working extra long days or hobbies which can take up a lot of time it can take away from time we should be spending alone with God first and then family. In Luke 10:38-42 it talks about how Martha was distracted with much serving and it upset her that Mary wasn't helping. Martha's drive to serve was keeping her away from spending time with Jesus. Many times we get wrapped up in everyday life and it distracts us from what our priorities should really be. Even if it is a fun hobby or work that must get done don't let it steer you from spending time on what is most important, God and family.

Hand Dryers

I normally don't like using public bathrooms but most of the time when we spend a day away from home I have to. One nice thing in some of the public bathrooms is the hand dryers. It's nice to not have to touch a paper towel holder with a handle on it. So many hands have been on them and it's much more sanitary to use a hand dryer that you can just hold your clean hands under. It's a great idea for all bathrooms.

Winter

We live in a state that has had a horrible winter. Luckily my husband and I were able to go to Arizona for 2 weeks to get a little break from the winter weather. When we were gone our home state had a really bad ice storm where it knocked out the electricity from a day to days in some areas. Then they had a blizzard on top of it. Since we've gotten home we have had somewhat decent weather until today and now it's snowing again and is suppose to continue throughout the day tomorrow. I wish spring would get here faster.

Careers

As a young person who is thinking about their future and attending college they are no doubt thinking of possible careers that they would be interested in pursuing. They have to plan their education accordingly and also find out what the possibilities are of them reaching their goal as far as achieving the career of their choice. It takes planning and hard work.

Mopar Parts

Last year we purchased a Dodge van. We absolutely love it. Hopefully it will be a very long time before we have to think about purchasing Mopar parts for it but when we do we will probably be checking on the internet to see if we can get a better deal. Car repairs can add up so easily and fast and it's important to us to find the best bargains possible.

Weight Loss Stories

Often when I am thinking about losing some weight I struggle with getting started but then when I hear people's weight loss stories it seems to encourage me to do something. I love hearing how some have lost hundreds of pounds by watching what they eat and trying to exercise each day. It really is a big help to me and an incentive to do better.

Anti Aging Product

Now that I am over 50 I often think as I look into the mirror that maybe I should consider looking into a good anti aging product to slow down the aging process a little or help with the wrinkles. Then I think to myself would I really use something like that or should I just grow old gracefully. I will probably grow old gracefully.
